About Rosjke
Rosjke is a sought-after speaker and workshop presenter, having presented workshops and seminars for women on women’s empowerment and the mother-daughter relationship for over fifteen years in New Zealand, the U.S. and U.K. You can find Rosjke quoted in a number of magazine articles on the mother-daughter relationship, namely, Red, She, and Cosmopolitan. Rosjke has also appeared on BBC Radio Nottingham, talking about and answering calls on the mother-daughter relationship. In her work, Rosjke is passionate about understanding what empowers and disempowers women and mothers and daughters from believing in and knowing themselves and each other. She believes that the mother-daughter relationship holds a yet unrecognised key to empowering women to claim their rights, value, and self-worth. The mother-daughter relationship is what unites all women because we are all our mother’s daughters. Empowerment or the silencing of women is passed on from mother to daughter, which is why empowering mothers is so vital. When a mother is empowered to feel good about herself, she will teach her daughter to value herself, who will then teach her daughter, and so on down the generations. With each mother and daughter who learn to feel entitled to be themselves and speak their authentic voices, a groundswell of empowered women will be created. Rosjke
was born in New Zealand and after studying in the U.S., she and her family
moved to live in Nottingham England. She is an accredited member of the
British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), a member of
the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (MNZAC) and a professional member
of the Amercian Counseling Assocation (ACA). She completed her Master of
Science degree in Counselling at Indiana University in 1997. To
